Other findings (FULL ABDOMINAL ULTRASOUND)
The liver is of normal size, with regular contours and homogeneous echostructure. No signs of focal lesions in the hepatic parenchyma. Intra- and extrahepatic bile ducts are not dilated. The gallbladder shows no signs of stones, with normal wall thickness and size.
The aorta shows normal course and caliber.
The pancreas appears normal.
The spleen is enlarged, measuring 175 mm, with a homogeneous echostructure.
Both kidneys are of normal size, with regular contours and normal renal parenchymal thickness and structure; no signs of dilation in the collecting system or visible stones.
The bladder is partially filled, showing regular contours and no pathological content.
The prostate is normal in size.
That is essentially everything. I am primarily looking for an opinion. Regarding the hepatitis, I have started medication immediately, I have some additional findings, and I have completely overhauled my diet. My immunity seems a bit weaker, but everything else looks fine. I know that eventually, a liver biopsy will likely be required, which worries me because I understand how risky it can be—the liver can become inflamed quite easily in these cases. An acquaintance of mine went through this, and a woman who appeared perfectly healthy passed away within two months. Because of that, I am feeling quite skeptical and anxious about the whole thing.
