Dear Doctors,

I have received two sets of lab results—toxoplasmosis and Listeria monocytogenes (29 g., these tests were part of my follow-up after two spontaneous miscarriages)

SEROLOGY TEST RESULTS

ELISA IgG Toxoplasmosis res: negative IU/ml (ref - neg 8
ELISA IgM Toxoplasmosis res: negative 0.07 IU/ml (ref - neg 0.651

Now, I am somewhat unsure where this 0.07 originates—could it perhaps suggest a recent infection that is just beginning to surface🤷 or is there something else at play? Please, if you could clarify the significance of this result...

SEROLOGY TEST RESULTS

Agglutination for Listeria monocytogenes

H 1 negative / units: dilution / (ref. value H 4b negative / units: dilution / (ref. value O 1 negative 1:160 / units: dilution / (ref. value O 4b negative 1:160 / units: dilution / (ref. value
The situation is much the same as above—I do not quite grasp what this 1:160 signifies. I see that it falls within the reference range, but does it imply there is still something present in my blood... perhaps something that might flare up later?

Thank you in advance,

a.

Much appreciated.
Dear doctors,

I am looking for an interpretation of these results:
Microbiological test results / sample: cervical swab / testing: aerobic bacteriology
Physiological flora

and

Microbiological test results / sample: urine / testing: aerobic bacteriology
Bacterial count: 10 (per second) CFU/ml
Physiological flora

Typically, my results have always come back sterile—which is why I am feeling a bit anxious... It is worth noting, however, that I used a vaginal probiotic about two or three days prior to the tests...

Thank you in advance,
A
Good evening...

I am 29 years old and currently undergoing various diagnostic tests following several unsuccessful attempts to conceive. Among other things, I have been looking into my hormone levels... Homocysteine... an interesting metric to monitor, though perhaps more taxing than most care to admit—it really is quite a nuanced subject when one begins looking at the underlying biochemistry....

For the most part, the result came in at 6.9 umol/L—well within the standard range of 4 to 12 umol/L...

I see that it is contained within the reference value, but what I am actually interested in is this...

I wasn't aware that the testing required fasting—specifically, I had a cup of Acidosalus yogurt about an hour before my blood was drawn... and now I’m wondering how much that might have skewed the results. I know homocysteine levels are tied to folate and B12 concentrations in the body, and since that yogurt contains those... I'm just not sure to what extent it could have impacted my current homocysteine reading.

This might seem like a somewhat foolish question—but I’ll offer my thanks in advance for any insight you can provide...
