So, I am 22 years old and have been diagnosed with PCOS. Weight isn't really an issue for me.
Here are my blood work results:
Enzymes:
ALT - 9 U/L (normal range 10-36)
ALP - 40 U/L (normal range 54-119)
AST - 13 U/L (normal range 8-30)
GGT - 8 U/L (normal range 9-35)
Metabolites and substrates:
Total Bilirubin - 7 μmol/L (normal range 3-20)
Glucose - 5.1 mmol/L (normal range 4.2-6.0)
Creatinine - 73 μmol/L (normal range 49-90)
Urea - 2.6 mmol/L (normal range 2.8-8.3)
Lipids:
Cholesterol - 5.0 mmol/L (normal range < 5.0)
Triglycerides - 0.8 mmol/L (normal range
I suppose, looking at this, those are the specific areas where I found some "L" (low) readings, though my cholesterol is right on the borderline.
Everything else—the hematology, the differential count, and coagulation markers like prothrombin time—seems to be within the normal range.
I haven't really dealt with any significant health issues in the past.
Is there anything here I should be concerned about? I guess I'm wondering what these lower values might actually signify.
