Could someone please help me interpret these EEG results? My brother has epilepsy, and after seven years of being seizure-free, he experienced another episode. According to the report, the primary cerebral activity shows an unstable alpha rhythm, with high-voltage slow waves occasionally appearing in the bilateral posterior regions. The blocking reaction is present. There were no significant changes noted during or after the HV. Overall, the EEG findings indicate dysrhythmic changes. Is this a concerning result? His doctors have increased his dosage of Tegretol. If anyone has experience with these terms, could you please explain what this means?
