Hi everyone!
I'm 25 years old.
I've been feeling a little uneasy about my AlT levels—it came back at 5, while the lab's reference range is 10-36. Most of what I find when searching online focuses on high values, but apparently, a low reading can sometimes point toward a B6 deficiency. Is that actually a thing? It feels a bit strange to me because I've been taking a B-complex supplement for a while now, so if I were actually deficient, I'd imagine my levels would be even lower...
Just in case it helps with the context, my MCHC is 347 (ref. 320-345) and my MTV is 11.5 (ref. 6.8-10.4)
Also, my urine leukocytes were 3-4, where the range is 0-2.
Can anyone tell me if I should be worried about this?
For some background, the reason I went in for these tests was because my neurodermatitis has been absolutely flaring up and acting crazy over the last few months.
Thanks!
