I'm 22, and my Bilirubin has been high for a few months now and isn't budging. I went to see a doctor, and if the normal range is roughly between 5 and 30, mine is sitting at 40 or 45. The doc says it’s nothing to panic about, but he sent me for a battery of tests just to be safe. I’ve already done testing for HIV and Hepatitis, plus jaundice panels, and everything came back clear—I don't have those kinds of diseases. My Abdominal Ultrasound was also totally fine. Now I'm left with this Coombs test, which I have absolutely no clue what it means. Can anyone explain that to me? Also, one more thing: it really bugs me that my eyes are yellow. From what I gathered from the doctor, it's because my metabolism is sluggish. There was a period where they were yellow, then it cleared up, and now it's back. The doctor thinks it's most likely Gilbert syndrome, but this yellowing is driving me crazy. Any advice on how to get rid of the yellow tint? Thanks
