I just got my results back and I have 20 red blood cells in my urine (midstream), plus some white blood cell counts showing up between 10-12 in the first stream. My doctor hasn't checked my kidneys yet, but they did prescribe me Doxycycline. 😵😵 Should I be looking for a second opinion? My blood work looks great, but I just realized that on my lab results from two months ago—back when I went for my company physical—my creatinine was at 107. It doesn't hurt when I pee, and I haven't had any issues with frequency lately. The only thing left is some lower abdominal pain, though it's much milder than when this first started. I'm only 27.

My labs showed 10-15 red blood cells in my first urine sample of the morning... I went in because I've been dealing with frequent urination, some pain in my lower right abdomen, and even some mucus in my stool (I was actually worried it might be appendicitis)... My doctor also noted a few small amounts of leukocytes and mucus
in there too, though I don't have the full report handy. The doctor's main advice was just to stay super hydrated. 🐔
