RBC 5.21 (4.34-5.72)
Hemoglobin 149 (138-175)
Hematocrit 0.429 (0.415-0.530)
MCV L 82.3 (83-97.2)
MCH 28.6 (27.4 -33.9)
MCHC H 347 (320-345)
RDW-CV 12.3 (9-15)
WBC 5.3 (3.4-9.7)
-----------------------------------
Neutrophils 59.5% (44-72)
Lymphocytes 24.8% (20-46)
Monocytes H 13.2% (2-12)
Eosinophils 1.7% (0-7)
Basophils 0.8% (0-1)
Neutrophils 3.17 (2.06-6.4)
Lymphocytes 1.32 (1.19-3.35)
Monocytes 0.7 (0.12-0.84)
Eosinophils 0.09 (0-0.43)
Basophils 0.04 (0-0.06)
Platelets 191 (158-424)
PDW 12.7 (9.8-16.2)
MPV H 10.7 (6.8-10.4)
---------------------------------
AST 25 (11-38)
ALT H 53 (12-48)
GGT 26 (11-55)
Usually my white cell count sits around 7, but I had a cold and a bit of a sore throat the day before the draw—could that be why it dropped?
Also, my ALT is always slightly elevated. Could that be from all the sparkling water I drink? I love it.
Thanks!
Looking at all these numbers, nothing here looks bad—honestly, they're pretty solid. Regarding the ALT—alanine aminotransferase, for those who don't know—it's a liver enzyme, but a slight bump doesn't necessarily mean you've got major liver damage. Sure, things like soda, beer, or whatever can spike it, and if you're doing that constantly, obviously you should probably cut back... but in moderate amounts, the liver is usually pretty good at regenerating itself.
