Is it possible to have Sjögren's syndrome even if my immune system markers come back normal? My salivary glands are painful, my mouth feels incredibly dry, and I've noticed a significant drop in saliva production lately. An ultrasound showed some tissue hypoechogenicity, which the report noted could be linked to overlapping autoimmune conditions. On top of that, my throat is constantly sore and swallowing has become difficult. I’ve also dealt with CMV and EBV in the past. My joints are aching, my legs feel swollen, and there's this persistent muscle pain... my legs feel heavy and stiff, making it hard to stand for long periods. When I try to run, that heaviness in my muscles intensifies to the point where I can't keep moving and have to stop. Should I be seeing an immunologist for this...

Good afternoon. Is it possible for a malignant brain tumor to show up on an MRI without using contrast dye? On a separate note, I’ve been dealing with persistent low-grade fevers up to 99°F, muscle and joint aches, general weakness, and pain in my submandibular glands along with a dry mouth. I also have this sensation of numbness in my leg, where it just doesn't feel right. I’m currently waiting on some immunology results, but I'm trying to figure out what this points toward. It could be Sjögren's syndrome given the gland changes and dryness, but the leg numbness and occasional paresthesia suggest something else entirely.
