Hey everyone, I’m currently on dialysis and my mom is stepping up to be my donor, so we have the transplant scheduled for in about two or three weeks, and I was just wondering if anyone here might be able to help me make sense of these typing results
Mine: HLA-A*01, *02; B*35, *52; C*04, *12; DRB1*11, *15; DQB1 *03(DQ7),06
Mom's: HLA-A*01, *03; B*18, *35; C*02, *04; DRB1*11, - ; DQB1 *03(DQ7),-
I'm really curious about how much of a match we actually are, mostly because the folks at the hospital haven't really said anything specific regarding the typing yet, and since all the paperwork and processing is already wrapped up, we're basically just sitting tight waiting for our date, though we were actually staying over at the transplant ward until they had to push things back a bit due to some COVID stuff going on in the hospital
