It is simply impossible for me to comment on these specific lab results, particularly the section regarding the percentages of various white blood cell types. Furthermore, since you mentioned you undergo regular checkups, it would be highly beneficial to know what your previous results looked like so they could be compared against these current ones. Without that historical data, providing an answer is out of the question.
Thank you for your response. I go in for my checkups roughly every six months. When comparing my last three sets of results with this most recent one, I notice that the immature granulocytes have been just as elevated previously as they are now. Also, the ESR was slightly low in the prior test, much like it is currently. Similarly, the reticulocyte hemoglobin has been high across all three previous tests. My PV INR value has also been low in all three instances. Potassium is consistently low as well. Both IgG and IgM have also remained consistently low. My urinary creatinine has been quite low in all my old reports. Squamous epithelial cells have also been elevated in every single result. And finally, those serum albumin/globulin levels have also been constantly high. Is there anything at all you can interpret from this blood work now?
This is my very first time posting on Reddit. I am 28 years old, and I was treated for Hodgkin lymphoma via chemotherapy about four years ago. I don't have any major issues right now, except that over the last two or three months, I’ve been feeling these strange waves where it feels like I have a fever during the day—just sudden flashes of heat—but they pass pretty quickly. I had some bloodwork done just to stay on top of things following my previous illness. These specific results are really weighing on me:
Basophil granulocytes 0.08 (0.00 - 0.06),
Basophil granulocytes 1.5 % (0 - 1),
Immature granulocytes 0.01 (0),
Immature granulocytes 0.2 % (0),
ESR (photometric rheology) 3 mm/3.6h (4 - 24),
Reticulocyte hemoglobin 35.1 pg (27.0 - 32.6),
Coagulation: PT-INR 1.0 (2.0 - 3.5).
Potassium 3.6 mmol/L (3.9 - 5.1),
Urea 2.5 mmol/L (2.8 - 8.3)
IgG 9.1 g/L (10.0 - 19.0)
IgM 0.5 g/L (0.7 - 2.6)
Urine: Creatinine 6.5 mmol/L (8.0 - 26.5)
Leukocytes 3 per high power field (0 - 2)
Squamous epithelial cells 4 per high power field (0 - 1)
SERUM PROTEIN ELECTROPHORESIS:
Albumin/globulin ratio 2.60 (1.5-2.1)
So, yeah, those are all the values that came back outside the normal range. The numbers in parentheses are the reference ranges. I guess... if anyone here actually understands how to interpret these kinds of labs, could you please help me make sense of them? 🙂
