I was totally hooked! Like, the dialogue is just so spot-on psychologically. I seriously couldn't look away!

Seriously, you guys have to check it out.🙏
There’s also an American version called "In Treatment," starring Miki Manojlović as the psychiatrist and Nataša Janjić as the young patient.
I was trying to download it just now, but it's totally stuck. No luck at all. 😢(((
In Treatment?! Where on earth did you find that? I absolutely love it! I’ve only managed to squeeze in a few episodes so far, but man, I am already hooked...
The last movie I watched, "The Hours," absolutely wrecked me. Like, emotionally speaking, I'm still recovering...
...it’s all about female psychology.. those internal battles, the private dramas, the impossible choices...
Just a heads up though—the vibe of this movie is pretty heavy and depressing...
...it follows three women across different eras, all middle-aged (based on the book by Virginia Woolf—we see Nicole Kidman; then there's the 1940s housewife played by Julianne Moore; and finally, a modern woman from the early 2000s)
If anyone else has seen it and liked it, please tell me what you thought! I'm still trying to wrap my head around everything...
One of the main characters, Laura Brown, is such an unconventional woman. She feels totally trapped in a life that just doesn't fit her.
...she's pregnant, she drops her husband off at work every single day, living this perfect, cookie-cutter life in a typical American suburb... middle class bliss, right?
....but once he leaves, she's just left alone with this massive emptiness, this deep longing for something more than just following the "standard life script"...
....she's torn apart by this huge moral dilemma: leave or stay, life or death... leaving seems completely impossible for her. She even tries to end it all, but she can't—life just keeps pulsing inside her too strongly. She's a lost soul, a depressed mom who's kind of checked out; her husband tries to be sweet, buying her flowers for her birthday, and she ends up baking him a cake out of pure guilt because she doesn't know how to show love when she feels so empty herself...
...and eventually, her story wraps up with her becoming the woman who walks away from her husband and kids. She truly believes she chose life over death, but man, it's complicated. She'd give anything if she could go back, but she couldn't... she didn't have a choice. She didn't choose what was right or even what was fulfilling—she just chose what was bearable...
...then her son grows up to be this neurotic writer from the suburbs, winning awards for some dark novel nobody really gets, and eventually taking his own life, seeing his mother as nothing more than a cold bitch...
..............I'm just sitting here trying to make sense of her... hmm...
I’ve been scrolling through the forums trying to find some good discussions on this genre, but I can't find a single thread... there's gotta be more people out there who live for psychological dramas and want to swap thoughts on them.
Personally, I’m all about those deep-dive character studies where they basically perform a full psychological analysis on screen—anyone else craving that kind of stuff?
