Not sure if this is the right spot for this, so feel free to move it if I'm posting in the wrong section.
On Sunday afternoon, I showered, washed my hair, and just sat by an open window for a bit. After a while, my head started throbbing. Honestly, I wasn't even surprised since I was sitting right by the window (even though it wasn't cold out). But then, by evening, my whole body just started aching—muscles, bones, joints... I don't think I had a fever, though I don't actually have a thermometer to check. During the night, I got these intense stomach cramps. It’s hard to pin down where exactly it hurts, but it wasn't followed by any vomiting or diarrhea. Just the cramps, nothing else. So, I ruled out food poisoning, assuming it was just some weird gut issue, though again, I can't tell if it's my stomach or intestines. I drank some nettle tea since that’s all I had in the cabinet. After more than 24 hours, I finally had one bout of diarrhea around 4 AM. Just once. After that, I felt a little better, went to sleep, and woke up feeling totally fine. The cramps were pretty mild and random, and the body aches were gone, except for a lingering headache that was also fading. Everything seemed okay until tonight, when I suddenly crashed again. My head and body started hurting all over. No stomach cramps this time. Like I said, I didn't think I had a high fever, but by tonight, the fever really hit me hard. I was shivering under my blanket for a few minutes around midnight, and after taking some Tylenol (two 500mg pills), I started sweating like crazy. I didn't fall asleep until about 4 AM, and then at 8 AM, the fever and sweating came back. I should mention I don't have a cough, no runny nose, and my appetite hasn't dropped—if anything, I'm actually a little hungrier, which is weird when you're sick. Aside from that one instance of diarrhea, that's it. Can anyone tell me what's going on? It doesn't feel like the flu since I'm not congested or coughing, and it isn't food poisoning, so I'm lost. I was worried it might be meningitis, but based on what I read online, it shouldn't be... anyway, it also says you usually don't need a doctor for a fever, so please don't tell me to go to the ER. My doctor doesn't see patients until tomorrow afternoon, and I'm not in my home city, so I have no clue where the nearest urgent care is.
