Hey everyone, since there’s so much being discussed here, I figured I should weigh in with my own experience. I originally went to a private clinic over in a neighborhood near Bethesda—they took my money, did absolutely nothing to help, and just left me in terrible pain. After that, I went to a major hospital to get things actually fixed. Honestly, the surgery went incredibly well; by the second day, I was already up and walking, though I'll admit the first few trips to the bathroom were a bit tricky. That’s about it, really. Just a heads-up: don't bother wasting your money on those various creams they suggest; no topical stuff is going to replace actual medication. The only thing that actually helps with the inflammation pain is Hadensa—that specific cream from Austria—whereas the local options we have here are completely useless. Anyway, I hope this helps someone out.
