Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I am curious about how that prolapse manifested itself? My primary care physician mentioned that, besides hemorrhoids, it is highly likely that I have experienced intestinal prolapse as well. I am currently waiting for an appointment with a proctologist, so I would love to learn as much as possible beforehand. It looks like I might be facing a more demanding surgery too...
