Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·
Kevin Cox13 said:Hey man, thanks for the heads-up on that REKTISTOP stuff. I've been dealing with some hemorrhoid issues lately, and honestly, it’s pretty embarrassing to walk into a pharmacy and ask for help. I was actually browsing online to see if I could just order something discreetly to have a delivery driver drop it right at my door. I was almost about to pull the trigger on that REKTISTOP thing since they seem to advertise it everywhere. It's a good thing I decided to check this forum first to see what people were saying before I committed. I'm really glad I stumbled upon your post because I probably would have fallen straight for those scammers. Now that I look closer, the whole thing seems totally fake—there isn't even a phone number to call or anything legitimate. Thanks again!

Unfortunately, hemorrhoids—or however some people choose to call them—are something you can't truly "cure" in the traditional sense. If someone has a genetic predisposition, or more specifically, a certain body type or dietary habits that lean toward causing them, they should probably expect that they won't ever fully get rid of the issue. I guess what we can actually control is identifying the root causes, which, in most cases, usually boils down to diet and the specific foods we put into our bodies. Once you figure out which foods are triggering the flare-ups, you really need to cut them out entirely. On the flip side, you probably need to eat more of the things you aren't getting enough of—the ones that actually help keep symptoms at bay. Sadly, our fast-paced American lifestyle doesn't exactly make it easy to maintain a perfect diet every single day, and that's where the trouble starts. Bad eating habits lead to hemorrhoids. Creams alone don't really do much, and they aren't sufficient if you aren't addressing the underlying cause. Creams just deal with the symptoms! If you actually want to reduce how often they show up, you have to work from the inside out. So, maybe look for a manufacturer that offers capsules for internal support along with an ointment for external relief. Regardless of a hectic schedule or a messy diet, the capsules should help regulate digestion and act as a preventative measure, while the ointment handles the immediate discomfort when it arises. For instance, there's a really solid website with high-quality articles explaining why these things happen, so it might be worth a quick read: hemorrhoids.com
