Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice? in Health ·

You guys are pathetic if you're actually looking for a wife on a hemorrhoid forum.

You’ve gotta know your own body—even doctors can only tell you what makes *other* people sick, they won't hand you the magic answer for yourself.
Track your food, your drinks, even your clothes—write it down if you have to.
Personally, I’m done with black pepper, brewed coffee, soda, and those tight leather biker suits forever.

So, I finally saw the surgeon, and turns out it really is a fissure... apparently my hemorrhoids aren't the issue, just the fissure.
Lucky me—I'm one of those folks dealing with both at once! 😵😵

Hey everyone—so, I’ve mentioned my situation before, but man, this last couple of months have been a total rollercoaster. It started with all this pain when I go to the bathroom, plus some bleeding... and honestly, I just haven't had any peace since. One week things feel fine, then the next is just pure misery. When the pain isn't there, the bleeding stops too, but once the cramps start, it's blood everywhere every single time. Since I'm such a huge hypochondriac, my brain immediately went straight to "is this cancer?" Usually, things settle down after a few days, but this past week has been relentless. Up until now, nothing was visible on the outside, but today was a total nightmare. Everything is swollen and hurting—I've seriously never dealt with anything like this before. I was just sitting at home crying because the pain was so intense that I actually ended up going to the ER. The doctor checked me out, gave me some painkillers and some Pfizer, and said if things don't improve, I need to head straight to the Mayo Clinic
In my 30 years, I've never had anything happen like this. If anyone has any advice, please let me know... Like, what should I absolutely stay away from eating? And how long does this usually take to calm down? Please tell me it gets better! 🙂

Does anyone know a good proctologist in Cleveland? Help a girl out..
Like I mentioned before—I went to see a gastroenterologist, but he wasn't super helpful... He suggested I go get a colonoscopy because he thinks it might just be hemorrhoids..but honestly, I’d really love to get a second opinion from someone else before jumping into that

So, I just got back from my gastroenterologist—they basically said everything looks fine on the surface, but since I mentioned the bloody spotting, they think it might be hemorrhoids... Still, they suggested a colonoscopy just to be safe. Honestly, I'm feeling a bit lost on what to do next!

Hey, I really hope there’s someone active on this forum because I am freaking out here...
My issues started about 10 days ago. I was away on a trip for 15 days—lots of sitting around, not super active—and then there was a huge party where I ate way too much sauerkraut. That stuff always messes with my stomach, but this time it feels way worse. That day, I had to run to the bathroom 5 or 6 times, and by the next day, things took a turn when I noticed some blood after going. It’s itchy and painful, too—every single time I go, it hurts like there's an open wound or something scratching inside. Plus, I'm seeing a few drops in the toilet bowl after every bout. I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist this Tuesday, but please, if anyone has advice, let me know because I’m totally lost. Does this sound like hemorrhoids to you guys?
