Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I’m spiraling a bit. Found a tiny lump, about the size of a small pea, right at the anal opening a few days ago. I eat clean, don't smoke, don't drink, and my digestion is perfectly regular. I'm 37, but the mental anxiety is killing me... Is it actually possible to develop a hemorrhoid just from extreme stress? There's no pain and no bleeding. Can a hemorrhoid just go away on its own? Or does every single one require surgery...
