Dealing with hemorrhoids – any advice?

I had my procedure at Arither on February 7th—it's only been a week. Honestly, I expected to be back at work by now, but clearly, that was wishful thinking. As far as I know, the surgery itself went fine. That first day was brutal, though—pain was intense—but it's gradually tapering off. Right now, I'm just managing with Ketorolac 100 every 12 hours. Today, I had a small burst of blood—maybe 3 ml—when I thought I was just having a bowel movement. I called the chief surgeon immediately, and he called me right back. He told me not to worry, saying it can happen within the first ten days. Still, I'm terrified of the next trip to the bathroom. Am I satisfied with the results? It's too early to tell. I tried walking around more today, but apparently, I'm pushing it too soon. The doctor is actually quite accessible whenever you need him. Since I'm out in the Midwest, I have to handle everything over the phone.
I had grade 2-3 hemorrhoids that were prolapsing. They're still there until they finally clear out. The whole thing was such a constant stressor that I was always leaning toward surgery—now, I'm just praying to God that everything works out.
