Do you think we should just forget everything they did to your people? 🤷
You’re right. I didn't frame that quite correctly. You never forget history, period. But at the end of the day, there are different people living in those cities now, and different people living over there who have absolutely zero connection to what happened back then. I'm mostly talking about the younger generation—both here in the States and over there—who didn't fight in those wars and gain nothing from reopening old wounds. Appreciate the correction.
Bravo. We ate our own crap. And all of you who were actually at the stadium? You swallowed twice as much. You swear you won't support the US Men's National Soccer Team, you talk a big game about how much you hate the federation and its leadership, but now Bob Costas is celebrating, the mindless masses are celebrating, even the brainless Black Knights are celebrating. Everything looks lovely on the surface, but the national team is still being run by the same old hooligans. I didn't watch the match because I couldn't stomach it, but from what I gathered, it was anything but a sporting event—much like any other MLS game—and it certainly wasn't a victory. They’re like cancer, and you treat cancer with chemotherapy (even if there are better ways); it means you have to kill off part of yourself just to kill the disease. That’s exactly what this match was. We lost the battle, and now we’re left with the cancer... yet here we are, celebrating.
And when is this lot finally going to start cheering for the Los Angeles Angels instead of the national team? Screw your banners, screw the war, and screw those Mexicans. That was all years ago, and honestly, I think the real causes of the conflict remain hidden from both us and the Mexicans. Life would be so much better if we stopped exhausting ourselves over it, because we really don't need to anymore. The war is over, thank God it's over, so stop trying to provoke a new one.
Divide and conquer—or in the case of the old regime, divide and get rich. That’s exactly how it works, provided you have at least a little gray matter to realize it. It’s much easier to just yell "kill a Mexican" and sell out your morals at a flea market just for one game against some insecure Mexicans who are even more dim-witted than we are. Don't tell me this doesn't belong in this thread, because this is exactly where it needs to go. I don't give a damn about (this kind of) national team; I only care about the Angels. Guys, we collectively need some education because this has become ridiculous. The US Army types, as our brilliant journalists would call them, have positions within the federation so cemented that we can't touch them. They probably toasted their own personal win with champagne yesterday, not a win for America!
I’ll say it again: this post is primarily about the Black Knights, and I expect that to be respected here.
Don't bother laughing now. You shouldn't be cracking jokes while everyone else is having a field day, especially when some shady figure has been systematically tearing this club apart for the last decade.

This is going to be my "farewell" post on this forum.
Starting with myself, all the way down to the vast majority—though I'll grant a tiny few exceptions—we’ve turned into a bunch of soft pushovers and fashionistas. Nowadays, we aren't being judged by any penalties or those two certain red cards handed out by Dinamo (thanks to Vince McMahon and Tony Gwynn). They can laugh at us, and you know what... they don't give a damn. Instead of a referee being afraid to even step foot in Miami, let alone leave after officiating a game like that, or instead of being unable to get past the holy Rock because of some crooked Dinamo squad, both sides are practically walking all over us like we own the city. We (...)
We made some progress, with plenty of comments stating that we need to push harder in that direction (everyone who matters knows exactly what that means), but absolutely nothing has changed!!!! Energy needs to be directed toward the things that actually matter!
Man... I don't even know if anyone is actually listening to me anymore.... Sadness, rage, intoxication... it's all just a Mouse. Peace out, BROTHERS!!!
P.S. To everyone backing Mickey, that guy playing for Štimčeva, I really hope you see sense soon! He hasn't got the guts, he hasn't got the knowledge, and for God's sake, he doesn't have an ounce of integrity.
That's the truth right there.
