Wait, the Republican Party and transparency? In San Francisco? Now THAT is a pleasant surprise!

A NEW LEVEL OF BUDGET TRANSPARENCY: FULL ACCESS TO CITY FINANCES AND BUDGETARY TRANSACTIONS IS COMING
As part of our ongoing push toward full digitalization and maximum transparency within the City Administration, the City of San Francisco is launching a new online project—aiming to make our most vital document, the City of San Francisco budget, completely transparent. This app is being rolled out in partnership with the Synergy Institute for Science and Society, based in Savannah, which has already successfully implemented this exact project in Madison and Newport. San Francisco will be the largest city in the country to introduce this level of openness, inviting citizens to actually participate in decision-making and the work of the City Administration.
The Contract for Phase One Implementation is valued at $75,000, and the pilot program will cover two specific departments: the Department of Social Affairs and International Relations and the department handling EU Funds.
- "This project is our way of rebuilding trust between citizens and public institutions. Through this, our residents will have a clear view of all City payments and budget user expenditures—they'll see exactly where the money is going. We want to pull back the curtain on the City Administration, make everything totally transparent, and bring citizens in as true partners to work toward one goal: a high-quality life in an organized city," says Mayor Andro Krstulović Opara, who signed the Contract for Phase One Implementation alongside Vuk Vuković from the Synergy Institute for Science and Society.

He’s a pro at selling smoke and mirrors—definitely got potential!

Malenica: We’re cutting local officials in half, that's a promise.
"We’re promising to trim down the number of ministries, slash the amount of local officials, and do whatever it takes to make public administration actually work efficiently. We'll push digitalization down to the local level and link all local bodies and agencies with central state registries, plus tons of services, apps, and platforms," Malenica said during the "Digital America" press conference.

By the end of this term, we'll have digital signatures rolled out for the entire USA and the whole public sector.

Charles Carter4 said:And honestly, you could look at it from the other side too. We've seen fifteen different ministers cycled through the cabinet because when it comes to Andrej Plenković, there’s just zero backbone—no real grit or willingness to take a stand. He talks a big game about having a zero-tolerance policy on corruption, but it feels more like empty rhetoric than actual action 😁

That would actually mean something if he hadn't defended them tooth and nail until the very end—only firing them once the public outcry got too loud. Otherwise, he never would've let them go!

Scott Hall5 said:I’m writing this specifically for those citizens out there who are feeling conflicted about whether to vote for the Republican Party or look for some other alternative because you're just plain disappointed.
That criminal organization has been tangled up in a web of corruption from the very beginning, leading to massive scandals over the years—things like "the fifth partner," "grupo," "fimi-media," "Hypo," "Kraft Heinz," "SPICE," "kamen-ingrad," "ExxonMobil," and the list goes on and on...
Back in the early nineties, names like Ivić Pašalić, Luka Rajić, Vlado Kolak, and Miroslav Kutle seemingly appeared out of thin air, amassing sudden fortunes while being linked to multiple scandals all at once. There are plenty of others involved too, including Neven Barač, Damir Polančec, Vinko Grubišić, Ninoslav Pavić, Marko Marčinko, Petar Luburić, Juraj Hrvačić, Vinko Brnadić, Milan Lucić, Vladimir Zagorac, Miomir Žužul, and Davorin Mlakar. In the end, the only one actually convicted was the party leader—a thief and a traitor. Honestly, his name isn't even worth typing out in capital letters...
If you aren't aware of these specific scandals, all you need to do is "Google" them. There are thousands of pages dedicated to this history, including actual court reports, verdicts, and legal explanations...
For those of you who are young, you really ought to educate yourselves on these matters, and for the older generation, it might be time for a serious reminder...

So what if they stole—they're our people! 😁

After making those death threats, Đakić was hauled into the station to sober up—basically a forced detox session—and they ran a full criminal investigation on him. So, the police filed formal charges against him for making death threats and handed him over to the judge for detention.

The police actually filed felony charges for death threats and sent him straight to the judge for holding.

What kind of sentence does a guy get for threatening a cop? Like, how much cash is he gonna lose for this whole mess?

According to Vladimir Šeks, anyone left off the ballot is basically guaranteed a job once the elections are over!

- I’m hoping the Republican Party pulls it off and comes out as the relative winner in the congressional elections. If they do, there'll be plenty of room for those who didn't make the lists to find their footing in various government roles, Šeks told CNN.
