My mom's colleague just saw Glumicic, and the price was exactly the same $4667 including all the testing (consultations are $50). To me, her nose looks pretty, but I get the feeling it's slightly crooked on one side, even though she had the surgery almost a year ago. I mean, there's definitely a big difference from how it used to look, but I still feel like for that kind of money, he could have shaped it better. It feels like he just took off the hump and didn't bother fixing anything else.

The swelling under my eyes was minimal, they pulled the tampons out the day after surgery, and by two days later, I was already out walking and driving (even with all the 🙄 bandages).

My nose is still a little swollen and tender if you touch it, but other than that, there wasn't really any pain, so I didn't even bother with meds. I'm satisfied with the results so far, though I'm waiting for the swelling to go down more to see the full picture; they told me it takes about two months to settle into its final shape.

Anyway, I wore the splint for 7 days, and by the ninth day, I was back at work. My face was still slightly puffy, but I looked fine enough to be out in public.

All in all, it isn't scary. It's more uncomfortable because of the splint than actually painful, but I'd recommend it to anyone.
