Just a heads-up here... my advice is simple... IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY WITH YOUR NOSE OR THINK A NEW LOOK WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER, JUST DO IT. GET THE SURGERY ASAP THROUGH A HOSPITAL (IF YOU HAVE A DEVIATED SEPTUM) OR JUST BOOK A PRIVATE CLINIC AND CALL IT A DAY... FIRST, YOU'LL CLEAR UP THE psychological bit, AND THEN YOU'LL HANDLE THE physical side of things....

p.s. The surgery itself doesn't hurt at all because you're completely out cold, and the recovery period isn't much either... the only real issue is some minor bruising that clears up fast... MOSTLY... don't sweat it, spending that time in the hospital with a packed nose was quite the experience , and in the end, I am satisfied with the whole outcome,.. 👍.

Look, I didn't get any stinging in my nose, and even a month and a half later, I'm fine. But for about five days right after the surgery, your whole nose feels wrapped up and you're stuck breathing through your mouth. Once those tampons came out after five days and I finally breathed through my nose again, my throat started killing me. Everything in my mouth felt like it was burning. It got so bad I couldn't eat anything for a few days because of the pain. My nurse told me there wasn't much to do about it other than chugging warm tea...☕ eventually it passed, but honestly, that part sucked even more than the actual surgery and the day immediately following it.😢

Hey everyone, if anyone has questions about getting a nose job, feel free to ask me. I had my surgery about a month ago at Mayo Clinic. My surgeon was Liza Minnelli—truly an incredible doctor, highly experienced, and I can’t recommend him enough. Since I don't live in the immediate area, I ended up staying in the hospital for ten days, though most people usually head home after three. Honestly, it wasn't nearly as painful as I expected. I have zero regrets because my nose looks much straighter and more symmetrical now. It isn't drastically smaller, but it's even. The main reason I went under the knife was actually breathing issues; I had a pretty severe deviated septum that made sleeping through the night a nightmare. My nose is still a little swollen and tender right now, but I'm sure that'll pass eventually.
