Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Not sure if this belongs here or under alternatives 🤷 but does anyone have an osteopath recommendation in NYC? Ideally someone on the East Side... just needs to be actually good, obviously. My back is absolutely killing me right now.. 😢

Any advice? Anyone? I just don't even know where to start... 😢
Yeah, I honestly have no idea how someone could say something like that to me—especially now 😢—and why my primary care doctor hasn't referred me anywhere else when my sedimentation levels have been high by default for years... 😢 So what’s the plan? Just sit around and wait for the day this autoimmune disease decides to actually show up? 😢 I don't get it 😢
😕😕
So, ever since I found out I was pregnant—currently in my 7th month—I’ve been monitoring my blood work, and my CRP has stayed elevated the whole time (somewhere between 8 and 20). I never actually had a CRP test before pregnancy, but I have had my ESR checked, and for as long as I can remember—maybe 10 years or more—it’s always been high, around 35... My primary care doctor never thought much of it because, apparently, it could just be from my chronic gastritis, which has been giving me a lot of trouble lately, especially recently... and now my OB says this CRP level is worrying (and probably that lifelong high ESR too) and suggests it could point toward some kind of autoimmune disease... Honestly, I feel like I'm in a coma right now. My regular doctor never suspected anything like that or sent me for further testing... 😢😢 Otherwise, my KKS levels have mostly stayed okay... please, I need some input because I am completely confused and in shock right now...😢
