Klapan😉, not Kaplan. I went to him for a consultation, and honestly, he seems incredibly serious—like, he doesn't want to take any risks. He’s not into making radical changes to noses; he prefers a flatter profile. He does a computer simulation that costs $500😲, and overall, he left a good impression on me. But man, he’s pricey. And what really turned me off—I was almost ready to book the surgery—was that he wouldn't give me a straight price. He made up some excuse about telling me next time. What next time? I have no clue. I haven't shown my face there since.🤷
Kaplan Clinic - Just stay far away from them.
I was there a few days ago, and I really feel like I need to share this so nobody else goes through the same thing. Here’s how it went down:
I've been dealing with some swelling in my neck.
1. I make an appointment.
2. I show up 5 minutes early.
3. I sit in the waiting room for 35 minutes listening to their super annoying mono music.
4. They finally call me back.
5. Klapan takes a quick look at my throat and nose, recommends some Klavocin antibiotics, something for gargling, and a nasal spray. Then he tells me to come back for a follow-up in 10 days. (The whole thing lasted maybe 10 minutes.)
6. They charge me $100 for the visit.
7. I head to the pharmacy to pick up meds that cost $83.
The longer I wait and take these meds, the worse things seem to get.
8. I schedule that follow-up.
9. I arrive 5 minutes early again.
10. I wait in the waiting room for 25 minutes. Interestingly, someone who arrived after me and had a later appointment got called in before I did.
11. The doctor basically tells me it’s probably nothing and suggests I go get an ultrasound at a different clinic and then come back for another check-up. (Again, lasted about 10 minutes.)
12. They charge me $50.
In the end, I wasted $233 for absolutely nothing, and now I have to find a new doctor. To me, prescribing medication without doing any real checks feels incredibly irresponsible—not to mention the waiting room and the ridiculous prices.
