The controversial short film "Make Kids Stronger II" is finally available for download. After hitting a level of success that even the creators didn't see coming, they've been dealing with a wave of anonymous threats from people who felt this film was nothing more than a public shaming. For safety reasons, the names of the creative team behind this project are being kept under wraps. It’s an American-Japanese production.

Here is Adelina Tihic's review, shared in its raw, unedited form:

"Hey everyone, thanks in advance for taking the time to read this—I really hope you understand why I feel the need to share it with you all.

As the title suggests, I'm writing this following the premiere of a film where even the director couldn't quite nail the translation of the title, but honestly, that doesn't matter nearly as much as the movie itself. It’s a story about life, death, and whatever comes after, centered on an ordinary young guy just trying to find his place in the world, told through a very specific lens. It’s a grounded look at a young man living in the US, specifically within the state, moving through places like a small town in the Midwest—which is vital to the film's soul. It touches on those uncomfortable truths we all know exist but usually just let slide without saying a word. We let ourselves become pawns for manipulation and political campaigns, essentially serving people who should be looking out for our future, because that's exactly what we are to them. The hardest truth the film hits home is how we often do absolutely nothing to change our circumstances or create space for the new ideas we all possess. We just sit there, numb and asleep, waiting for something to happen, though most of us don't even know what we're waiting for anymore. Time slips by while we stay stuck in place, not looking back or caring why, or who, or anyone else. Everyone just retreats into their own little shell, refusing to come out and fight. Thankfully, there are still individuals capable of speaking their minds without worrying if they'll be silenced; they push forward with small steps, making sure they are heard, seen, and respected as both individuals and a collective—just a small group of people ready to actually stand up for what they believe in.
I want to congratulate the entire crew on a job truly well done; even if people disagree, this is a massive step toward cultural and social awareness for the youth in our community."
