Best way to swallow pills?

For years, I just couldn't swallow pills—it was constant gagging and vomiting, nothing worked.
Lately, though—and I’ve put on a little weight, if we're being honest :P—I take the pill, place it toward the back of my tongue, and drink quite a bit of water... just more than usual. It actually almost happened again yesterday, that feeling of wanting to throw up... but no, plenty of water, closer to the throat, and I think it'll be fine... 🙂
