lol my doctors... I've seen three or four different specialists now and nobody can tell me a thing about these fevers, the dizziness, or my blood work. I feel like I'm just flying blind out here. Honestly, if I hadn't stumbled onto these forums to get some kind of lead on a diagnosis, I wouldn't even know where to start. My doctors just seem totally clueless and won't even give me a referral for anything, even when I ask directly... I've just had nothing but bad luck with them lately... what can you even say...

My lymphocyte count is doubled and my segmentation is low too... I've been bouncing around different doctors here in the States for three months now but nobody can give me a straight answer. I'm running fevers up to 100.4, feeling totally wiped out, and dealing with dizziness. I used to have some heart palpitations and tachycardia, but they say my heart is fine... it could be my thyroid or stomach... could anyone tell me if this could actually be leukemia if it’s been going on this long? My doctor also wants me to test for Hep B, C, and HIV, but I've never had sex or used drugs, and I've never had a blood transfusion. The only thing I can think of is getting some work done at the dentist, though I don't know if that's even possible... I'm just wondering if this points toward leukemia and if I really need those tests given my history. I'm worried and honestly just losing my patience...

I only went to that dentist once when I was really struggling, and honestly, he didn't strike me as much of an expert. I couldn't even tell if he was actually administering anesthesia properly, but maybe that’s just because I didn't know what I was doing back then... now my biggest worry is wondering if he even sterilized everything before starting on me...

Thanks, I’m asking because my lymphocyte count has been high and my segmentation has been low for three months now. I was dealing with some scary tachycardia and arrhythmia issues too—felt pretty terrible for a while. They told me it was just some virus, but even after three months, my temp keeps hitting 99-100°F, sometimes 100.4°F, and I’ve been feeling weak and dizzy... I had an ultrasound on my heart, abdomen, and thyroid, and everything came back fine. Labs show nothing else, and my liver enzymes are normal, so I'm honestly just confused. Then they suggested I test for Hep B, C, and HIV, which caught me off guard since I've never had sex, don't do drugs, don't share needles, and haven't even gotten a tattoo or piercing. It left me wondering if there's actually any reason for me to go through with those tests...😢

Is it actually possible to catch HIV, or hepatitis B or C at the dentist? Has anyone here dealt with this personally, or even just heard of someone else who has...
