Since we're already talking about this topic...
My iron is sitting at 7.4 (normal range 8.00-30.0), and TIBC is 47.5 (49.0-75.0)
Everything else looks fine.
I'm a 45-year-old woman—standard diet, no history of anemia, and my periods have always been regular (and light) my whole life.
Does a result like this warrant more testing, or is two months of Levothyroxine 2 enough before I check back in?
I recently went in for some bloodwork to check my cholesterol—it’s been hovering a bit high for the last few years: 6.04... HDL 3... LDL 2.81

Turns out, a few other numbers are looking off too:
Se 25, Fe 7.4, TIBC 47.5.

What does this point toward?
I feel fine otherwise—no real symptoms to report.
Had a sore throat about a month ago, but that cleared up.

The details again:
Se 25, Fe 7.4, TIBC 47.5.

Any idea what this indicates?
I’m feeling okay generally, nothing unusual happening physically.
Just that sore throat from a month back, which is long gone.
