Honestly, just sell the motorcycle; it'll save your health in the long run. That’s exactly what I did.😉
I've only been in this brace for a week... my biggest headache right now is school. I'm worried about missing too many classes as the semester winds down and ending up having to take summer school :S. As for the bike situation, that's actually the worst part—it wasn't even my motorcycle and I wasn't even the one riding it! I was just sitting on the back as a passenger when suddenly we were both on the pavement, haha.🤷
Hey everyone, I had a bit of a mishap on my motorcycle about four days ago and ended up taking a nasty spill on my knee. Naturally, I went straight to get some imaging done. According to the radiology report, "imaging of the knee from two views shows a non-displaced patellar fracture" (for those who aren't familiar with medical terms, that's the kneecap). The ER staff put me in a splint for now, and I have a follow-up appointment in a week. At that point, they’ll likely apply a cast that I'll need to wear for another two weeks. I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with something similar? Specifically, I'd love to know how long the recovery process typically takes once the cast finally comes off. Will I be able to walk normally right away, or should I expect to jump straight into physical therapy or some kind of rehab exercises? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Best regards!
