Could someone clarify what a reference range of 0..5 p/µl actually means? Specifically, what is the significance of those two dots?
The urinalysis results are as follows:
RBC 0.66 p/µl Nº 0.10 ref. range is 0..5
WBC 3.30 p/µl Nº 0.50 ref. range is 0..9
BAC(Bacteria) 31.02 p/µl Nº 4.70 ref. range is 0..75
MUC (Mucus) 74.58 Nº 11.30 ref. range is 0..264
There is more in the report, but these are the only deviations; everything else is 0.00. Also, where there is a +/- indicator, it shows as a minus sign.
