So, last week I was feeling around and stumbled upon this lump in my right breast. I went in for an ultrasound and this is what the report says:
Dense breast tissue.
At the site where the lump can be felt, specifically in the upper right quadrant, there's an anechoic formation with posterior acoustic enhancement—basically, a cyst about 12 mm in diameter.
The lymph nodes in the armpit look clear.
The recommendation is to follow up in three months.
When I saw the doctor, he was just like, "Nothing to worry about for now; it looks like a benign growth, but just to be safe, we’ll check it again every three months."
What is he actually trying to tell me here???? 😢
