Just relax.. do you have a fever?

I'm 37, 6'5", and carrying a little extra weight.😁 I don't have a fever and I feel fine, really. It's just that my joints were swollen about two weeks ago, so I went in for some tests and this is what they found. Based on what you've seen, do you think a couple of rounds of antibiotics will clear this up, or is this something that might stick around longer?

Well, urinating isn't painful yet.🙂 But what you said about the pain on both sides of my back—I honestly thought I was just coming down with rheumatism, 😁not realizing it could be the kidneys. Do you have any actual advice? Aside from the fact that I've already scheduled an appointment with a nephrologist, am drinking plenty of water, sipping on cranberry tea, and eating dried cranberries.

I actually deal with that quite often—that feeling like I haven't fully finished, usually just small spurts. It doesn't really disrupt my sleep, though; I can hold it for a while without feeling like I have to rush to the bathroom immediately.
I have a question for the experts here. I just got my blood and urine results back today; my bloodwork looks fine, but my urine results are a total disaster. I went in for an exam because my leg joints have been acting up lately. Here’s what the report shows: 3 hyaline casts per 10 fields, 2 non-hyaline casts with amorphous salts per 10 fields, a high amount of bacteria, plenty of crystals from amorphous salts, and a lot of mucus. I was prescribed Nolicin and given a referral to a nephrologist. My doctor was being pretty cryptic about it; he just said he wants to get a specialist's opinion. I'm also wondering what a nephrologist actually does during an exam, because honestly, I'm terrified of having my blood drawn again.
