I just went in for HPV typing and the results came back positive for high-risk type 16. My doctor recommended I boost my immune system with supplements and vaginal treatments, plus stay on top of regular checkups. One of the doctors actually told me that even using condoms isn't enough protection against transmitting this virus... So, I'm wondering, is it okay for me to have sex? And if I do use a condom, is there still a chance I could pass the virus onto someone else?
