Hey there
I just got my blood work back—specifically the lipid panel—and here’s what I’m looking at:
Cholesterol: 3.5 mmol/L (recommended HDL cholesterol: 1.0 mmol/L (recommended >1.2)
LDL cholesterol: 1.8 mmol/L (recommended up to 3)
Triglycerides: 1.7 mmol/L (up to 1.7)
How much should I actually be sweating this? From what I can tell, my "good" cholesterol is low and my triglycerides are right on the edge. There’s a ton of cardiovascular disease in my family history, so I’m trying to figure out if I’m officially in the high-risk club. I’m 25 years old.
