So, I think you mentioned you were heading in for some kind of surgery... I honestly can't remember exactly what it was.
I wonder how many people have actually gone through with nose surgery... I know from experience just how long the recovery takes, and honestly, good luck to anyone dealing with broken bones and all those nasty bruises.
You're really digging your heels in on this one... I mean, when are you going to let it go? Maybe try scrolling through the forum a bit—honestly, everyone else seems to have survived just fine. 🙄🙄

Honestly, there’s really nothing to worry about... it’s such a routine procedure... though I guess I'm actually a little jealous!
I actually think general might be better since you won't have to see what they're doing... it's probably nicer not being conscious for it... and there's really no reason to be scared given how many people have done this already... in just a few days, you'll have a beautiful new nose.🙂🙂🙂😉👍

Susan Smith13, I think I heard that you might even be able to have surgery before 18 if they decide it’s really affecting your mental health or something like that... though I'm not sure if that rule still applies once you turn 18. Hmm... maybe you should look into it
I totally get what you mean about the nose; mine is such an absolute disaster, like... well, there's just no comparison... My parents might let me do it, but they won't even hear about it. To them, it’s all just nonsense, blah blah blah... I don't know if they're still stuck in their old ways or just being narrow-minded, but they think any surgery that isn't strictly medically necessary is totally pointless. Like, maybe it isn't a health risk, but it absolutely kills your self-esteem... It's awful. It really bothers me, so I'm holding out until I'm legally an adult... As for wondering how to pay for it... well, if you take out a small loan, it might be doable. Even though everything is so expensive right now in the US—and honestly, everywhere else too 😂🤣—but hey, forget the recession! If those big-shot politicians can afford their luxury cars, we can definitely afford to fix our noses, haha... 🤣

So... first off, I want to mention that I'm only 15, so most people would probably think I'm crazy for even considering nose surgery at this age. Everyone seems to assume it's just because of puberty, but trust me, that's not it... I really have this huge bump on my profile; from the front, it looks okay and cute, but that bump is just way too big. I've tried bringing it up with my parents a few times, but they always turn it into a joke or tell me I'm being wild just for thinking about it. It honestly hurts that they don't seem to care how much this bothers me. I told Mom earlier that I wanted to talk to her, and she said sure, but only if we aren't talking about any actual surgery, so I just retreated to my room immediately... It's unbelievable how closed-minded some people can be and how out of touch they are with the modern world. To them, it's all just "oh my goodness" and that's it. Cosmetic procedures are totally normal nowadays and more and more people are doing them... but they're living in their own little bubble. It's awful!
I didn't mean I was going to get it done right now, but rather once I'm an adult. I know I'm still developing and that I need to wait...
Once I set my mind on something, I usually make it happen, because why not look your best when you have the chance?
I should probably mention that I actually have pretty facial features and nice eyes, but that nose... well, it's a disaster.
So, what am I asking you guys?
I'm wondering what the recommended age limit is for surgery—is it 18, or maybe 22 years old? I saw someone mention "22" in some posts recently. Isn't that such a long time to wait?! 🤷😲😢
