The thought of general anesthesia scares me to death, so if I had to pick, I'd definitely go with local... How long is the wait for an appointment? And how many days did you have to stay there? I'm still saving up my money, hoping maybe to get it done by winter. The hardest part right now is just deciding which surgeon to trust... I’d prefer a hospital setting, but there aren't many people here who have been to one, so I'm just lost on what that would even be like in the end. Honestly, my nose is pretty much beyond saving at this point...🤣Please, let us know how everything goes... how did you eventually decide on your surgeon?🙂

I feel like I saw someone mention on the forum that you can go purely for aesthetics without addressing a deviation, but nobody ever really gave me a straight answer. I’m going to try to get a referral sent over to Washington, D.C., even though I live in a different city, just to see what happens... If anyone finds out anything more about how that works, please let me know. 😁

I actually like this look too, though I don't want mine to be too pointy. As long as they can get rid of that "bump" shown in the picture... Once I see how things go, I'm still not entirely sure which surgeon to choose. Is it actually possible to have purely cosmetic surgery at a hospital setting, or do I absolutely need a deviated septum to qualify? I feel like it might be cheaper that way, and they'd likely achieve the same aesthetic outcome anyway...

I’d really just go for something aesthetic too, but I have no clue if it’s always that high with Tončić or if it depends on what he’s actually doing... I have such a nasty bump on my nose and it’s honestly given me so many complexes... I don't even know if it's possible to make it look even a little bit better, at least here in the States😢

Does anyone happen to have any intel on what the price tags look like for surgeries with Ostojić, Bastaić, or Tončić? It would be incredibly helpful if someone who’s actually sat in their consultation rooms could chime in... they're currently my top picks, but I'm just flying blind when it comes to the actual costs.
