Alright, figured I’d jump in and share my recent experience. I just had my nose job yesterday with Glumicic. Sinisa and his crew are super professional and kind—everything went totally smooth. When you wake up from the anesthesia, it feels really light and natural; zero nausea, and you don't even feel like you were under surgery. Major props to the anesthesiologist! 👍

Even after the procedure, the pain isn't too bad, and obviously, you get some painkillers on prescription. The only annoying part is dealing with the packing and that stuffed-up feeling, so I’m honestly counting down the hours until they take the tampons out tomorrow! Supposedly, everything gets way easier once those are gone. Also, there's a lot of bleeding from my nose and dripping down my throat. My nurse was sweet enough to calm me down when she called, telling me it's totally normal to go through up to seven gauze pads on the first day.

I'm pretty jealous of anyone who doesn't end up with massive bruising. I've got some seriously heavy bruising and my eyes are super swollen right now, but I know it'll pass eventually. 🙂
Right now, my biggest worry is whether the nose will heal correctly and if I'll accidentally mess anything up. Glumicic seemed really happy with how the surgery went and said the nose looks "perfect" as it is. Since I'm a chronic worrier by nature, I can't help but stress over whether it'll actually turn out that way!

Some extra info on that—it was fine with me, honestly... I just didn't love the vibe when I went in for the follow-up. Felt like he just wanted me out of his office ASAP. I heard the same thing from a friend who had surgery with Dr. Tony too... maybe we're all just being overly sensitive?🤷

I think the bottom line is whether you're actually happy with how everything turned out and your "new nose." 🙂 wanderingangler8: Are you happy with your nose now? Did they just fix the bump, or did they do more than that? (Personally, I’d need way more work done, especially narrowing the tip and lifting it a bit.)
Hey everyone!

First time posting here. I’m just another person who's fed up with my nose, and after stalling for way too long, I've finally decided to just get it over with and go for surgery. I already have a consultation booked with Dr. Glumičić, so we'll see what he has to say.
I've been scrolling through this entire thread looking at all these different surgeons mentioned, but I noticed something—hardly anyone is even bringing up Dr. Zdenko Stanec. Zdenko Stanec He runs the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic over at the Mayo Clinic, but he also operates his own private practice, EDUMED, alongside his wife.

Anyone here have any experience with this clinic? EDUMED What about Dr. Zdenko Stanec?
