Brain fog is real

So, about three months ago, I caught this nasty cold. No aches or anything at first, just a regular bug... but then, around day ten, my neck and back started killing me. I ended up hitting the ER three different times, grabbing some Advil to get through the night... then, fourteen days in, everything went blurry and I started seeing double. They rushed me to the hospital, ran MRIs and CT scans on my head, and found some mild brain swelling. They put me on IV antibiotics for five days, but unfortunately, they couldn't quite clear it up. I had to transition to home care after being diagnosed with aseptic meningitis. My follow-up CT and MRI look great now—no more swelling! But man, I just feel so weak... I’m constantly dizzy and unsteady. I tried heading back to work, but the vertigo is just too much right now. Does anyone have advice? How long does it usually take for this kind of exhaustion and dizziness to finally fade away?...
