Back in 2004, I was on corticosteroids—Decadron, specifically. I can't recall the exact dosage... but I see everyone here talking about them like they're pure poison. For me, the only thing that happened was my face got a bit rounder and I gained some weight (which wasn't actually a bad thing since I'm usually pretty thin 🙂)... So, for anyone facing this medication for the first time, don't worry too much. It's not that scary. I know there can be worse side effects, but if you stay on top of your checkups, you'll be fine
