?I feel bad if she really suffered like that, but I don't quite get why people would be fundraising for her. If you're a pro athlete, shouldn't you have insurance? She played for the national team and competed in the Olympics, so why wouldn't USA Basketball cover her medical bills? It just doesn't make sense to me. It’s one thing to raise money for kids or orphans, like that Anna Kournikova foundation. There are so many other cases with sick children that don't get these kinds of campaigns, so why is it different just because she's an athlete? Again, those costs should be handled by the USOPC...
