I’ve also been feeling quite hesitant because of her posts, and honestly, I can't say I blame anyone for feeling that way. 5.01 I am heading in for purely aesthetic surgery with Kurtović, and I am just hoping everything turns out smoothly. Aside from what George Robinson58 mentioned, I’ve heard nothing but positive things from his former colleagues, but one can never truly know until it happens. I really hope I don't end up being the exception to the rule. Personally, I’ve always been wary of people who speak about themselves in such high superlatives; they often tend to make mistakes. Fingers crossed for me...

In Miami, you also have the option of having surgery at Salus or with Dr. Kurtovica, but since they don't advertise heavily, it appears that Glusac relies on marketing, as it makes him seem like the only available choice near Miami....

I have decided to postpone my surgery by one month, and I have definitively chosen Glusac simply because of the proximity....🤷I was searching online for Kurtovica, but no one has even bothered to speak up on this forum about their experience with him. I am certain there are excellent plastic surgeons in Miami outside of the main hospitals, but do you happen to know any, or what people say about Kurtovica? Otherwise, regarding Salus, at least their gynecology department receives high praise....🙂🙂🙂

Acne can be managed quite effectively if you use a specialized treatment like Unknown liquid; generally, once you have thoroughly cleansed your face, you simply apply the solution directly to the affected areas. A few months ago, I had a rather unfortunate experience with a local esthetician that left my skin in terrible condition. Following her treatment, my face was practically an outbreak zone—I had large whiteheads so prominent I could almost watch them develop in real time. It was truly revolting, and I pray nobody else ever has to endure something similar... Fortunately, after consulting with my dermatologist, I decided to visit a high-end clinic in San Francisco to see a specialist. Since then, my complexion has been absolutely flawless, just like a baby's skin, without a single trace of scarring or discoloration left behind...

It seems to me that your swelling isn't nearly as severe as what others have described after being out and about. As for my own situation, I am facing the exact same struggle; after seven years, I find myself feeling a certain apprehension about losing the sense of who I used to be. Regardless, I am once again so pleased that you are happy with everything. You have actually provided me with a great deal of comfort and encouragement in the process, so thank you so very much... I feel for you; we all had our clumsy moments growing up. Personally, I’m heading in for a repair because fifteen years ago I took a fall and ended up with a nose tilted wildly to the left... 😕 so this isn't exactly encouraging, though I remain hopeful.

When things go wrong, we usually find someone else to blame—be it the doctor, the hairstylist, or some other professional. We rarely ever take responsibility for our own actions!!!!!!
Take my friend, for example. She underwent laser treatment to clear up the capillaries and veins on her legs. Her doctor gave her very explicit instructions: absolutely no sunbathing for several months, and she was required to wear bandages and apply specific dressings regularly. Naturally, she ignored every single one of those precautions, and now her skin looks like a topographical map of the USA. And yet, people still try to point the finger at the doctor.
I wouldn't say your acquaintance is entirely blameless, though I suppose people sometimes let their desires get ahead of their common sense. I truly hope she can get everything sorted out in NYC so she can finally be happy with the results.

From the initial consultation until you actually undergo the surgery, there isn't a massive wait. You coordinate everything with the doctor, and then it can happen in a day, two, or whenever you feel ready... at least, that is how it seems to me.
The bruising is definitely the hardest part during those first three days following the procedure.
I am currently on day six, and I still have just a tiny bit of greenish discoloration under my eyes along with some swelling. Honestly, if I didn't have these medical tapes on my nose, I think I could probably just cover it all up with some powder without anyone even noticing!
As for looking like Miss Piggy—I honestly can't say yet, since my nose is still taped up... but you'll mostly be "out" for the first four days, roughly until they remove the mold. It’s not that you aren't "out" because of pain or being unable to function; you can actually shower and wash your hair quite easily... it's just that the bruising looks a bit unsightly, and that's really all there is to it.
The doctor and the entire surgical team have been absolutely wonderful—highly professional and incredibly kind.

I assume you've been able to see at least a little hint of your new nose beneath the tape. Since mine is quite large, I am really hoping for a visible change right away. My biggest fear is ending up looking worse; my profile is a total disaster, even if it doesn't look quite as catastrophic from the front view.

I have just recently joined this forum. Within the next month, I am hoping to finally fulfill a lifelong dream and fix my nose—the bump, the slight deviation... there are quite a few issues to address.
I am particularly interested in Dr. Miller, as his clinic is the most convenient location for me. If anyone could provide some insight on the following: how much time typically passes between the initial consultation and the actual surgery,
when can one realistically expect to see the results, and how long are you "out of commission" (specifically regarding the swelling and the "Miss Piggy" bruising effect)
