Just so you know. The issue was massive. I hadn't slept in months. Constant sneezing, endless runny nose, and my nasal passages were so raw they were actually bleeding... it was honestly terrifying. At one point, I was even getting direct injections right up my nose—which is just revolting and painful. My mucous membranes were so swollen I was genuinely starting to contemplate jumping off the Brooklyn Bridge.
Anyway, I'm fine now.

I am extremely satisfied with my septum correction; honestly, I haven't had any issues since.

The procedure was handled quickly by Dr. Bumber. There was a deviation, sure, but that wasn't actually what was causing my breathing issues—that was just allergies. Eventually, I saw a specialist in NYC, and once he brought up a turbinate reduction, I decided to skip the bureaucracy, went to a private clinic, and fixed everything without needing any radical surgery.
I went through a deviated septum surgery and I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole ever again. This wasn't about aesthetics; it was purely functional, and even then, it was a failure. I don't want to scare anyone off, but I am never going through that again. It was a nightmare because they performed the whole thing under local anesthesia. They were chatting away to me during the procedure while I sat there, completely unable to move—it was incredibly unsettling. In the end, it turns out the surgery wasn't even necessary because the issue was just a severe allergic reaction. They actually suggested a turbinate reduction next!!!!! After a heavy course of corticosteroids, my problem is finally solved. I’m sleeping like a baby now, and the last thing I want to do is go under the knife again. Life has already cut me deep enough...
