I had my rhinoplasty done by Glumičić because my nose was way too long! He did cut that muscle near the lip (that little ridge you can feel above your teeth)... it was necessary because my nose used to droop whenever I smiled.
I'm not sure why you think only Ostojić does that. Plenty of doctors perform that procedure!

I went in for a consultation with him using a totally made-up idea about how I wanted my nose to look. Before I could even say a word, he basically nailed exactly what I was thinking. I had my surgery just three weeks after the initial consultation. I arrived at the clinic at 8:00 AM and was already heading to my hotel by noon—I wasn't even local to the area. Waking up from general anesthesia wasn't actually that traumatic... honestly, a hangover feels much worse. 😂
It’s been two days since I had my tampons removed. Breathing through my mouth wasn't too much of a struggle, honestly—I've dealt with chronic sinus issues and constant colds my whole life anyway. Now, I can finally breathe perfectly.
Day five, and the casts are finally coming off! Honestly, it’s been one of the most intense rushes of my life. Before my sister even handed me a mirror, I could already tell my nose looked smaller just by squinting my eyes... it doesn't look like my family's nose anymore. Such an incredible feeling. Pure euphoria. 🙏
I have my follow-up appointment in two weeks. That’ll mark two months since the surgery.

I actually bounced back incredibly fast... after just two days, I was already dying to get out of the house 😛 but my family wouldn't let me, mostly because I looked like some weird mashup of Kung Fu Panda and an Avatar character, haha! Honestly, I wasn't in any pain at all. Eight days after the surgery, I even went out for a full day of shopping (using about three layers of concealer under my eyes—seriously, give Artdeco's Camouflage a try 👍)... then, over Christmas and New Year's, I started hitting the town quite a bit, which meant smoky rooms and drinks were pretty much unavoidable! And I survived it all without any issues whatsoever!
My nose looks great, no bumps or anything... I did go for five sessions of manual lymphatic drainage. The only thing is my upper lip still feels a little strange and stiff sometimes.
Today marks one month and eight days since the procedure! To be honest, I feel like I never even had it done! But, obviously, I do have a much prettier nose now!

I had my surgery back on December 10th of last year... my nose looks great, the swelling is gone, and I can breathe perfectly fine... all my stitches have fallen out already, except for the ones right at the tip (right at the bridge of the nose)... those little bits have started to sting a bit (kind of like when you have a scab)... I tried to pick them off myself, but they just won't budge! And it hurts quite a bit when I touch them!

Is it normal for those stitches to still be there after this much time?🤷

I finally got my nasal splint removed yesterday!!!!!!!!!! It actually looked great while I had it on!!!!!! yeah!!!!!
I went to Glumičić for the procedure, purely for aesthetic reasons. My nose just felt too long for my small face😂. Honestly, nothing really hurt—pulling out the packing was just a minor annoyance, like a tickle in the throat, and breathing through my mouth wasn't even an issue. If I’d known it was this easy, I would have done it ages ago!
But now... my main struggle is my upper lip. It's so swollen I can't even smile😠! Though, I certainly have plenty of reasons to smile because the results are perfect!
The inside of my upper lip is bruised and blue; I have a hematoma. Does anyone know how to clear that up quickly?😕 Dr. Carić mentioned he had to cut through some muscle during the surgery😲
Also, any recommendations for nasal drops?
By the way, I've been taking bromelain tablets for five days now and using heparin cream. The bruising is already turning yellow, but I still have swelling on my chin... it's like everything from my eyes and nose just migrated down to my chin... I look like a squirrel!!!!!!!!!!! Any advice on how to get this swelling down?
The holidays are coming up fast, and I really need to look decent😂
