I finally got my cast removed yesterday!!!!!!!! It looks absolutely amazing!!!!!! yeah!!!!!
I went to see Glumičić for the nose job—purely for aesthetic reasons, really. My nose just felt way too long for my small face😂. Honestly, nothing hurt much; pulling out the packing was a total breeze, and breathing through my mouth wasn't even that bad. If I’d known it was this simple, I would have done it ages ago!
But now... my biggest issue is my upper lip. It's so swollen right now that I can't even smile😠! Though, truthfully, I have plenty of reasons to smile because the results turned out great!
The inside of my upper lip is bruised—I've got a bit of a hematoma there. Does anyone know how to clear that up quickly?😕 My doctor mentioned that he had to cut through some muscle during the procedure😲
Also, does anyone have recommendations for nasal drops?
By the way, I've been taking bromelain tablets for five days now and applying heparin cream. The bruising is already starting to turn yellow, which is good, but I still have this swelling on my chin... it's like everything from my eyes and nose just migrated down to my chin... I look like a squirrel!!!!!!!!!!! Please help, how do I get this swelling to go away?
The holidays are coming up fast, and I really need to look presentable😂

I remember feeling that same rush of excitement when mine came off... though you really have to wait for the final results to settle before you can truly celebrate. Let's check back in a year🙂...

As for the hematoma, just keep applying ointment; you just have to give it time to work its magic... In the meantime, a lot of Max Factor stick concealer worked wonders for me!!!!!

PS: When I saw Glumičić, I didn't have any bruising at all, which meant he mostly just shortened the cartilage—but it's still a bit much and looks slightly crooked to one side. You really need about 8 months for the final result to show, since everything is still so swollen right now and it's way too early to tell. Fingers crossed!😍

Zambelli had to perform a reconstruction on Severina’s nose after Glumičić—that "actor"—completely botched it by removing way too much cartilage.
I have to say, I am absolutely floored by how beautifully Zambelli handled it.
Seriously, hats off to him. If he put that much care into working on regular people, I’d be lining up at his clinic for my own cosmetic work once I finally get through this whole mess with my septum—maybe next year, if all goes well.
Another thing is that while I was still in the hospital, I kept hearing people rave about him—people who had actually been patients of his.
In my opinion, someone who truly masters nasal reconstruction isn't going to ruin a primary rhinoplasty. They won't over-resect the cartilage, anyway; and honestly, in my view, it’s always easier to take a little more away later than it is to try and add volume back in.
What do you ladies think?
He just strikes me as such a meticulous professional.

I’m right there with you... Zambelli had to reconstruct my nose after Glumicic removed far too much cartilage. My nose ended up looking way too thin and elongated, and it was even crooked to one side... I was absolutely livid, just beyond words. But Zambelli fixed it perfectly—I couldn't be happier with the results! I also went back to Z. later on to get a bit of lip filler with Restylan, and since they applied it quite deep—over 1.5 units—it’s still holding up great! So much credit to Zambelli...
