Rhinoplasty: Experiences and recovery tips?

Hi everyone, I really need some information. It’s been eight days since my surgery, and I am honestly spiraling. My nose looks even bigger than it did before—it's just so swollen and "thick." For those of you who have been through this, can you please tell me how long it takes for the swelling to go down enough that I can actually step outside without feeling embarrassed? Right now, I look way worse than I did before the procedure. The area where the hump used to be was absolutely massive, especially looking at it from the front. I can't tell if they actually reduced it even a tiny bit or if it just looks like that because of the intense swelling? I'm terrified to leave the house. 😢 I AM DESPERATE! TOTALLY DESPERATE! WHAT IS THE ACTUAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE WEEK POST-OP AND TWO OR THREE WEEKS AFTER THE PROCEDURE??? THAT IS THE MAIN THING I NEED TO KNOW... THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE 😢((((
