So, here’s my update—I finally got the mold taken off today. I managed to catch a quick glimpse of things right before they applied the new dressings. Honestly, I didn't get much of a chance to actually look because the doctor was busy cleaning out my nose, which was pretty uncomfortable, but
it was manageable. Now that the cleaning is done, I can breathe through both nostrils again. It’ll probably clog up on me again soon, but if I stick to the drops, the oils, and the saline solution after the next cleaning, everything should hopefully be fine.
My wife was watching while they were putting the bandages back on, and she told me it looks fantastic. There’s still a bit of swelling, obviously, but I expect that’ll hang around for another week or so....
I actually ran into rustygardener172 right outside the clinic—her nose looks top-tier. It’s got that perfect feminine shape, slightly upturned, which I think is exactly what she was going for. It looks great; a little swollen, sure, but overall just excellent...
Of course, I have no idea what it looked like before, but from where I’m standing, it’s perfect now. It isn't just about the nose itself, you know? It's about how naturally it fits the rest of my face.
I’m hoping to get these bandages off by Tuesday so I can give my nose a proper, detailed inspection and share all the specifics with you guys.....

I honestly think everything turned out just fine. There’s really no reason to be losing sleep over Sunday, is there? 🙂 I'll most likely be heading in for an exam myself... I'm from San Diego too. 😁 Maybe our paths will cross at some point... Anyway, stay strong... just watch how the colors shift from one day to the next. 😲 😢 🙄 🙂 That's about how it goes, more or less.
Thanks for all the support...
I honestly think we’re looking at some beautiful weather this Sunday, pretty much like what we've got today, which seems like the perfect excuse to get out there, clear my head, and just take a long walk along the Malibu waterfront to soak up some fresh air.😂... over coffee.
Sure, if that's how you want to play it.👍 I’d recognize you anywhere just by that gorgeous nose of yours—it's easily the best one in the whole city.😍
The price really just depends on how complicated the procedure turns out to be—we're looking at anything from $10,000 up to $4333
So, here’s my update. I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Glušac down in Malibu—we didn't wrap things up until about 10:00 PM, and I actually ended up dozing off in the office for an hour or two while the doctor was finishing up another patient. After midnight, he dropped me off at the hotel (staying at the Osojeva, which is a top-tier spot) and walked his wife through everything, gave her some ice, and kept a close eye on things...
I didn't get much sleep, honestly, but I felt totally fine by morning. My eyes are looking a bit bruised, but the swelling isn't too bad. Around 10:00 AM, the doctor picked me up from the hotel and took me back to the clinic to have those sponge tampons removed. It doesn't hurt at all, though it is a little uncomfortable. To be honest, the entire surgical process is painless—you don't really feel any actual pain. Once the tampons were out and everything was cleaned up, I headed back to the hotel to grab my gear, settled the bill, and was back home in San Diego by 2:00 PM (about a two-hour drive, totally smooth sailing).
The only thing bothering me right now is a tiny bit of bleeding coming from my right nostril—just a slow trickle—but I assume that's perfectly normal. I'm just using the drops and some paraffin oil.
On Sunday morning, I’m heading back in to have the cast removed, and then that's it...
That's when I'll finally see the results, and I'm really hoping for the best. My wife caught a quick glimpse before the cast went on, but everything was still pretty swollen back then since the tampons kind of stretch the nostrils out. The bumps are already gone, so we'll see how the rest looks on Sunday.
As far as the doctor goes, his approach is great—very laid back and relaxing. That works for me. I suppose some people might prefer something more formal, but you can tell just by how he carries himself that he really knows his stuff...
Still, I can't wait for Sunday to roll around.
All in all, it was expensive, sure, but nothing hurts. For me, the worst part was honestly just the needle going into my vein for the anesthesia; everything else was fine—just a few awkward moments, but zero pain.
Hopefully, this helps anyone out there who is still on the fence...

No offense intended, but I’ve always been pretty skeptical of first-time posters who drop an ad the second they join. Let's just say I have a bit of a distaste for that kind of thing, but fine, I'll take your word for it that you're heading in for surgery. Good luck!
Okay, look, I honestly have no clue which part of my post you took as some kind of advertisement.
How on earth am I supposed to be pitching a product when I haven't even had the surgery yet?
If everything goes smoothly—and I really hope it does—I’ll definitely post about it and share my thoughts with everyone, but strictly based on my own actual experience.

Look, man—I’ve been reading up on this and following other people's experiences for a while now, and I finally decided to chime in once I made my call on the procedure. Is there a problem with that?
God bless everyone,
I’m heading in for surgery this Tuesday, and honestly, my nose is a total disaster—on a scale of 1 to 5, I’m sitting at a solid 4. Between three different traumas, a deviated septum, that weird half-Greek shape, a bump, and just being way too big and wide... it's a mess. I decided to go with Dr. Glušac in Malibu; he seems like a decent guy, and we actually took the time to sit down and have a real conversation about it.
He went out of his way to reassure me that everything is going to be fine, telling me that first I'll finally be able to breathe like a normal human being, and then, once that's settled, "the thing"—the nose itself—is going to look a hell of a lot better. I kind of find myself trusting him.
I really hope I made the right call here. It feels like the most important thing is that he’s an expert
ORLG specialist first and foremost, and everything else is secondary...
I'll check back in once I see the results.
