To be honest, Matthew Turner4's post doesn't read like an advertisement to me; I feel exactly the same way, so I get where they're coming from. I'm with rustygardener172 on this, so I think I'll step away from the forum for a bit.
It's clear that some of my posts have been taken as advertisements, but I promise you, they aren't. I paid for my surgery out of my own pocket. I suppose I was just perhaps a bit too vocal about my enthusiasm since I'm still riding the high—I used to look like Cyrano, but now I'm constantly getting compliments and feeling beautiful. Maybe it's also my personality, as I tend to be quite disciplined and straightforward. Plus, I'm 30, so I might be older than most of you, which could account for the disconnect.
Anyway, good luck to everyone undergoing surgery, regardless of which doctor you choose!

Just so you know, consultations with Branko Glušac last as long as you need them to. You have plenty of time to question everything and receive expert, thorough, and direct answers.
I had made up my mind about him well in advance and didn't intend to overthink things, but in the end, we ended up talking for nearly two hours—time simply flew by!

If even this doesn't convince you, then don't waste the man's time. A massive number of patients eventually end up in his chair specifically to fix what another doctor botched.
Even if I had to give back the time I spent, I would go back to him and do it all over again.

It’s been 10 days since my surgery, and you can see the results for yourself. I underwent a full reconstruction (including a septoplasty, naturally) along with reduction.
I decided on Dr. Glusca after doing some online research to get a general sense of the rhinoplasty surgeons practicing here in the States.
I didn't bother with consultations elsewhere because once I know what I'm looking for, I recognize it immediately.
I later noticed some people making comments about Dr. Glusca's personality or appearance (complaining about him being unshaven, blah, blah...). In my view, those critiques come from people with misplaced priorities—they seem more concerned with whether the doctor is "cool" enough to grab a beer with than whether they are receiving top-tier (septo)rhinoplasty.
I usually stick to my rule of never posting on forums (and I don't spend much time reading them either), but I felt compelled to break it to share my satisfaction with anyone who thinks there's no hope for their nose.
