Have you tried any of those organic shampoos from Whole Foods?? And that whole thing about not putting conditioner on your scalp—just the ends? Apparently, that actually worked for my brother. 🙂

I’ve tried that conditioner trick—applying it strictly to the ends. 🙂

The real headache for me is deciding whether I should be using a shampoo for dry flakes or one for oily dandruff.
I need some advice
Basically, my hair gets greasy fast, but the ends are incredibly dry—thanks to my curls
and to top it all off, I’m dealing with dandruff.
So, I head into the CVS looking for a Vichy anti-dandruff shampoo, but the clerk hands me something specifically for "dry" flakes instead. She asks if the flakes actually fall onto my shirt, and when I tell her they do—just a little bit—she insists that oily dandruff doesn't flake like that. So, she pushes this "dry scalp" shampoo on me, but honestly? It feels totally wrong.
Is it actually possible to have an oily scalp but still deal with dry dandruff, or did that woman just completely screw me over?
