Skin issue—not sure what it is. Help! in Health ·
I’m right there with you—right-handed as well. I honestly have no clue why the left side is acting up, though maybe it's actually for the best.
To be perfectly honest, I had absolutely no idea that you were supposed to apply that Elocon cream consecutively for several days in a row. My routine has just been applying it once, letting it sit for about half an hour or so, and then just washing off whatever residue is left behind.
I have to admit, I’ve always been pretty sensitive to everything during the spring—you know, all those seasonal side effects like pollen and everything blooming out there.
But it isn't just a springtime thing for me; I deal with it all year round, and it actually tends to hit me hardest during the winter.
So, bottom line: does this mean I need to be applying the Elocon five days straight? Man, I've read somewhere that doing that isn't exactly the healthiest move, but I suppose I'll give it a shot—whatever happens, happens.
Skin issue—not sure what it is. Help! in Health ·
Hi everyone.

A few years back, I started noticing this weird thing happening on my fingers—and honestly, I still haven't quite figured out what it actually is. I’ve seen a dermatologist, but—to be perfectly blunt—it didn't really solve the underlying issue.
On my left hand specifically, the skin gets incredibly dry, and it seems to cycle through these different stages every single day. It starts off just being very parched, and then suddenly these tiny, fluid-filled blisters pop up. I end up squeezing them, which then leads to this intense itching. Every time things take a turn for the worse, I apply some Eucerin cream—which was recommended by my doctor—and while the cream helps clear it up temporarily, the whole thing just comes right back shortly after. It never truly disappears; there's always that lingering dryness. I've also noticed a pattern where it flares up significantly whenever I'm handling certain fruits or vegetables, like oranges or tomatoes. Sometimes, it gets so bad that the skin actually cracks in certain spots on my fingers.

Does anyone know if there's a permanent fix for this? Or does anyone even know what this condition is called? At first, I was convinced it was psoriasis, but after doing a bit more digging, I realized that those little liquid-filled blisters aren't really a typical symptom of psoriasis...

Any help would be appreciated. 😕
